
Okay, so my mom actually did know what she was talking about. 'Brain food' she'd tell us, anytime we confronted anything healthy on our plates. Well, I've been reading (among other things) Dr. Daniel Amen's book: 'Change Your Brain. Change Your Body.' and am confronted, once again and very for real this time, that we ARE what we eat.
What we eat DOES make a difference in how our brain works, and therefore how our bodies function and handle the stresses of the Multi-Tasking life. Now that I'm at that age where numbers matter more than ever (you know, hormone levels, good and bad cholesterol, etc.) it's information that I'm taking to heart (literally) and to mind!
