Where does the time go?

Sheesh...since my last post, I have: survived the 100 days of May, and lived to talk about it, helped graduate a 5th grader, had the house painted, replaced my air conditioning system, equipped/packed/sent my child off to Scout camp for the first time for a whole week, completed a year-long project for a client while juggling all the balls of other 'normal' business, helped two friends start their own new ventures, celebrated Father's Day with my husband and my own dad.... and only had a few nervous breakdowns in the process. LOL

Come on, all you out there. I know I'm not alone! Not by a long shot!!! What's your life been like from Mother's Day till Father's Day this year? Good thing the 4th of July and my vacation is right around the corner or I'd be the one shooting off sparks into the sky!

Now, it's time to relax. This year, I'm going where my phone won't ring, and it's (almost) impossible to get email. And, I only speak the language just enough to get by. I'm going to see things and places I haven't seen. Find a nice sunny beach where I can lie near the water and re-connect with a good piece of fiction, and eat whatever I feel like at the time. A vacation for the body, the brain and the soul.

Sound good? Let's go together to find out what life's like on 'island time.'

More to come...

Hey Kyle -- This little book is a must read as you noodle over just which island is right for you: How to Live on an Island, by Sandy Gingras. Her website, www.how-to-live.com is fun to look through as well.
